HONORABLE MENTION: Foundling Review's 50-word fiction contest, Pachaas.

Big stores and delicate porcelain dolls. Desires suppressed, the nameless head home. A cheap
plastic present awaits - a red doll mass produced in the dark factory of useless goods. No glitter
or shine but it was hers. The cold forgotten, all was good again. There was enough for today.

An avid traveler, Rekha is an optimist and loves everything new age. She has just sold her first novel and hopes to start work on her stack of 'partially-finished' manuscripts soon. She also harbors an unhealthy obsession with pseudonyms.
